Accessibility & language access

ASCS Agency is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we welcome your feedback.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a goal we design and test toward — a target and an ongoing process, not a legal certification.

How we support accessibility

Keyboard navigation
All interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, and a “Skip to main content” link lets you bypass the navigation.
Screen-reader support
Pages use semantic headings, landmark regions, descriptive link text, and labels so screen readers can announce content and controls.
Visible focus states
A clear, high-contrast focus indicator shows which element is selected when you navigate by keyboard.
Color contrast
Text and meaningful interface elements are designed to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
Scalable text
Text uses relative units and stays readable when you zoom or increase your browser’s font size.
Reduced motion
We honor your system “reduce motion” setting and minimize non-essential animation and transitions.
Accessible forms & errors
Form fields have associated labels and help text; errors are announced, summarized, and linked so they are easy to find and fix.
Mobile accessibility
Layouts reflow for small screens, and the mobile menu is an accessible control with a clear expanded/collapsed state.
